PRESCHOOL (4 - 5 Years)

Children at this age are emerging as confident, independent little people with their own thoughts and ideas about the world around them. Our kindergarten teacher and support team are there to guide your child to prepare them for the next exciting stage of their educational journey.

We see first-hand the growth in confidence when a child’s own unique interests and skills can be identified, encouraged and allowed to flourish. Each day is filled with stimulating activities to build on their skills and prepare them for transitioning into the primary school environment.

OUR PROGRAM

Our Kinder Program provides a range of experiences and learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, wonder and awe.

Activities are planned in each area of the key developmental areas: Emotional, Social and Physical Development, Curiosity, Logical Inquiry and Mathematical Thinking, Language and Literacy Development, Creative and Aesthetic Development. As part of preparing children to move into a more formal educational setting (school), we develop the children’s interests, communication, independence and problem-solving skills.

Each day involves indoor learning discovery, outdoor learning exploration, collaboration at group times and progressive mealtimes. Mealtime is a social time for the children to interact with their peers and educators. As part of their journey to independence, they are given the responsibility to assist with serving food and setting the table.
