The energetic world of a toddler is filled with curiosity, discovery and exploration. This stage is an amazing time in their development and it is our role to foster their independence while providing a safe base to build from. Toddlerhood features plenty of significant milestones in their cognitive and social development.

Our days change to provide older toddlers with a variety of child-led learning experiences.

We provide many learning outlets that cover self-help skills, social skills, daily life skills, pretend play as well as introduce problem-solving and investigation skills. Expect to see plenty of messy play activities with masterpieces to take home and display! We also begin to introduce educational play from counting, letters, primary colours and shapes.

We can support parents with potty training, with our staff helping your child every step of the way.

OUR PROGRAM

Our Toddler program offers plenty of opportunities to these busy little people through social, emotional, physical, cognitive, language, creative, cultural and environmental learning.

Meals and rest time are usually the same time each day, but our learning experiences are fed through an array of fun activities during the day. We love to have group mat sessions where we share experiences from our home and lives, or we like to listen to stories.

All children are encouraged to interact in group play, to teach the values of sharing and cooperation as they develop friendships. Much of our Toddler program is centred around each child's interests and family input.
